BEER CHEESE HERBED BREAD

Ingredients

3¼ cups all purpose flour

2½ tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp baking powder

1½ cups beer

1/3  cup melted unsalted butter

¾ cup grated parmesan cheese

1½ tbsp fresh chopped herbs (chive, thyme, shadon beni, parsley)

Extra melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease the loaf pan and set aside.
  2. Place the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt) in a mixing bowl and whisk together.
  3. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add beer, ¼ cup melted butter, grated cheese and herbs. Stir together until the dough just comes together. Be careful not over mix!
  4. Pour mixture into a prepared loaf pan. Pour a little extra melted butter over top and bake for about 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the loaf.
  5. Remove from oven and let sit for 1 – 2 minutes before removing from pan. Let cool until just warm to the touch before slicing.
    Slice and serve
