EASY DROP BISCUITS

Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder 

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

1 cup milk

2 tsp white vinegar

8 oz warm butter melted (plus additional 1-2 tablespoons melted for brushing)

Extra melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with wax paper; set aside.
  2. Add the white vinegar to the milk in a bowl and set aside for a few minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.
  4. Add the melted butter to the cold milk and mix well.
  5. Add the butter and milk mixture to the dry ingredients and mix just until everything
    is combined. Be careful not to over mix.
  6. Drop the batter in even large spoonfuls, about 1-inch apart on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven approximately 10 – 15 minutes, until the biscuits begin to turn golden brown – about 10-12 minutes.
  8. Brush the biscuits with the remaining 1-2 tablespoons of melted butter, then transfer to a wire rack to cool for a few minutes before serving.
