SORREL BARBEQUE SAUCE
Recipe created by Chefs Jameel Mcneo & Kerron Iniss, featured at the Star Ingredient Challenge Dinner - Sorrel
Ingredients
2 cups ketchup
1 cup tomato paste
2 tbsp mustard
3 tbsp ground garlic
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 cups sorrel concentrate
1 tbsp Adobo seasoning salt
2 tbsp hot sauce of any kind
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
- In large sauce pot add all ingredients and bring to boil for 15mins.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve as desired. Perfect drizzled over salmon, chicken, pork. Store in refrigerator.
